Description

The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of mechanical equipment and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations. The successful candidate will diagnose mechanical faults, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all equipment operates according to company and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Compile quotations according to customer needs and specifications
• Service, repair and overhaul the mechanical parts of agricultural equipment and vehicles
• Ensure that all work sheets for services rendered, are done according to VKB’s policies and procedures Comply with all Health and Safety standards

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Completed N2 - Tractor Mechanic
• At least 2 to 5years’ experience as a mechanic
