Description

A 12-month work-based learning internship providing hands-on experience within the manufacturing industry. The intern will support Kaizen events and Lean manufacturing initiatives, assist in maintaining digital performance dashboards, perform data analysis, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and assist in compiling technical reports and updating work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide active support for Kaizen events and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating digital performance dashboards.
  • Assist with data analysis to track trends and measure the effectiveness of improvement projects.
  • Collaborate closely with departments like IT, quality, and production to align technical deliverables with business objectives.
  • Assist in the compilation of technical reports and update work instructions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Lean principles.
  • Skills:
  • Problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – essential.
