Festive, a division of Astral Operations Limited, is offering a 36-month Apprenticeship Programme at its Processing Plant in Olifantsfontein. The programme provides young and energetic candidates with the opportunity to receive formal training, gain technical knowledge and acquire practical workplace experience while working towards becoming qualified artisans.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the formal apprenticeship training programme.
• Attend and complete all required training and assessments.
• Make reasonable progress towards achieving the required competencies.
• Maintain and update the apprenticeship training logbook.
• Produce the training record when requested by the employer or training organization.
• Maintain, repair and optimize plant equipment and associated devices under the guidance of qualified Artisans and Technicians.
• Follow all workplace instructions, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science, or a Technical Matric.
• National Technical Certificate (N3) or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
