The Gert-Johan Coetzee Fashion Bursary 2027 offers one South African student full funding for a 3-year Fashion Design course at the North West School of Design in Klerksdorp. The bursary covers tuition, a laptop, a Bernina sewing machine and internship opportunities at Gert-Johan Coetzee Studios.

Responsibilities

• Be South African citizens
• Be 18 years or older
• Be available to start in February 2027
• Commit to the full 3 years
• Be fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Read the NWSD course prospectus

Qualifications

• Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
• Have a Diploma exemption or equivalent
• Intend to study the 3-year full-time Fashion Design course
