Put your analytical skills into practice and gain valuable industry exposure within the Medical Aid sector. Available from February 2027 to January 2028. As an Actuarial Intern, you’ll gain insight into the use of data, statistics, financial modelling, and risk analysis to support business. You’ll work with experienced professionals and develop a practical understanding of how actuarial principles are applied within our environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data and statistics to support actuarial and business-related decisions.
• Assist with financial modelling and the application of actuarial techniques.
• Conduct risk analysis to help identify and assess financial and operational risks.
• Interpret and analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Support actuarial projects by assisting experienced professionals with calculations, analysis, and reporting.
• Apply actuarial principles to real-world challenges within the medical aid industry.
• Prepare and maintain analytical reports to support business planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Degree in Actuarial Science
• Not currently employed
• Minimal work experience
• 35 or younger
• SA Citizen
