Take the first step towards a career in the legal field with practical exposure in a professional Medical Aid environment with a Legal Internship with Bestmed from February 2027 to January 2028. During this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to observe and support legal processes, assist with documentation and research, and gain an understanding of how legal principles are applied in a business setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with legal research on relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and legal matters.
• Support legal documentation by preparing, reviewing, organising, and maintaining legal documents.
• Assist with legal processes and gain practical exposure to how legal matters are handled within a business environment.
• Review contracts and agreements to assist with identifying important legal provisions and potential issues.
• Conduct information gathering and analysis to support legal investigations, advice, and decision-making.
• Assist with compliance-related activities by helping ensure that business practices align with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential legal records while demonstrating attention to detail and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Matric
• LLB
• Not currently employed
• Minimal work experience
• 35 or younger
• SA Citizen
