Description

The Western Cape Department of Agriculture is offering opportunities for 30 unemployed rural matriculants and 15 students requiring Work Integrated Learning (WIL). This program is designed to empower youth by providing hands-on experience and skills development in the agricultural sector. Participants will gain exposure to various aspects of agriculture, contributing to their professional growth and employability.

Responsibilities

  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world agricultural scenarios
  • Work closely with mentors to gain practical experience in your field of study
  • Assist with research, data collection, and reporting for agricultural projects
  • Engage in operational activities, such as resource management and planning
  • Document and present findings or experiences as part of learning assessments

Qualifications

  • Qualifications Required: Grade 12 Position: Matric Intern Qualifications Required: WIL letter from the Institution Position: Student Intern
