Description

This programme is designed for entry-level candidates to join Ster-Kinekor Theatres in a multi-role capacity, including duties such as cashiering, box office sales, catering sales/collections, cinema assistant, waiter, popcorn service and other cinema-related functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions and marketing activities, enabling upsell to guests
• Ensure presentation standards are adhered to: age restrictions displayed, synopsis files updated, posters neat, F&B and product displays maintained
• Prepare popcorn, slushes etc according to quality standards and report deviations
• Assist in shift preparation in the assigned area
• Manage product quality and integrity to ensure guest experience is not compromised
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, counters and surrounding areas including store-rooms; ensure fumigation when required
• Ensure products are properly sealed, packaged and stored
• Ensure correct uniform and preparation standards adhered to at all times

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• 0-1 years’ work experience in a similar role is preferred
• Basic MS Office knowledge
