Description

The internship for Strategic Planning & Business Performance involves supporting the development of various strategic and operational plans, understanding performance management frameworks, and assisting in the documentation of strategic reviews. Key responsibilities include preparing performance reports, conducting research for strategic initiatives, maintaining performance dashboards, analyzing business performance data, and coordinating inputs from different divisions. Required qualifications include a Matric or equivalent, along with a tertiary qualification at NQF level 7, such as a B. Com in General, Public Administration, Business Management, or Strategic Management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and refinement of Strategic Plans, Annual Performance Plans, Annual Organisational Operational Plans and Annual Reports
• Fair understanding of performance management and strategic frameworks
• Assisting in the coordination and documentation of strategic review sessions and performance monitoring meetings
• Contributing to the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports aligned to organisational plans
• Conducting desktop research and benchmarking to inform future strategic initiatives and performance indicators
• Maintaining and updating performance dashboard and other tracking tools Assisting with the analysis of business performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent
• Tertiary qualification from recognised South African institutions:
• B Com General
• Public Administration
• Business Management
• Strategic Management
