Description

The internship involves assisting in help desk functions, researching cross-border road transport policies, and providing administrative support to the Licensing team. Responsibilities include engaging with operators for account registration and application submissions on the CrossEasy Permit System. Required qualifications include a Matric or equivalent and a Bachelor's degree/National Diploma in Transport Economics. Key skills include proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Candidates must be South African citizens and capable of working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities related to the help desk functions
• Research cross-border road transport policies and regulations
• Provide administrative support to the Licensing team
• Engagements with operators to assist with registration of accounts and submission of applications on the CrossEasy Permit System Stakeholder engagements Computer skills (Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Must be a South African Citizen
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to details
• Can maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree/ National Diploma in Transport Economics and related qualifications
