Description

The End User Computing (EUC) Analyst is responsible for the operational ownership, management, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s endpoint environment. This includes endpoint device management, software deployment, remediation of vulnerabilities and audit findings, workstation standards enforcement, asset management system ownership, and Tier 2/3 endpoint escalation. The role bridges projects, security, and operations by ensuring endpoint‑related initiatives and remediation actions are executed to completion, reducing operational risk and improving endpoint stability and compliance. This is an outcome‑driven role requiring strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and execution capability.

Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Device Management & Software Deployment (Primary Accountability)
  • Own the operational management of endpoint devices across the organisation
  • Administer and maintain endpoint management platforms (eg Intune, SCCM, Manage Engine Endpoint Central or equivalent)
  • Manage the full software lifecycle, including: Packaging, deployment, updating, and removal of applications
  • Standard software catalog maintenance
  • License compliance and optimisation

Qualifications

  • NQF Level 3
  • NQF Level 2
  • Below school leaving
