Table Metadata (Extract and Transform). For every table in Extract:. SSIS Package Name. If no SSIS identification of stored proc and add to SSIS conversion priority list. Source system and original name. Frequency of update. Key columns for update e.g. ID, Created_At and Updated_At identified within column list. (object id’s from sys tables). Indexes (object id’s from sys indexes). SSIS Solution/Project Name. Post SSIS Insert and Update procedure name. Any other procedure that references the Extract.Schema.TableName. For every table in Transform:. Stored Procedure that generates it. Column List (with identification of derived fields. (object Id’s from sys tables) Indexes (object id’s from sys indexes). All Tables referenced to generate. Any other procedure that references the Transform.Schema.TableName.

Responsibilities

• Standardisation
• Any procedure that is assessed must:
• Overall layout (eg) PascalCase
• Header configuration
• Procedure and Error Logging
• Variable definition standards
• Apply Standards as set out by Patrick for:
• Performance Management
• Self-manage
• Time management
• Feedback sessions

Qualifications

• No specific education required
• A keen interest in databases and technology
