Responsibilities

• Create test plans and test cases to validate system functionality and prevent errors in production
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Communicate test progress, results, and issues clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders
• Adhere to testing standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with business policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to software testing

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Alternatively: Relevant IT certification (eg), ISTQB Foundation Level)
• 1–2 years’ experience in software testing or quality assurance
