Description

Software Engineers are responsible for coding and implementing software solutions, problem solving, collaboration, technical expertise, software maintenance and improvement, documentation, and communication, keeping up with technology and mentoring juniors. They are expected to have a solid understanding of software development principles, programming languages, frameworks, and tools, and to develop high-quality software solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements whilst driving continuous learning to enhance these skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish objectives for self and team
• Work on objectives or goals within timeline
• Consider all reasonable factors, impediments and obstacles
• Identify potential alternative strategies and refactor approach for maximum benefit within the shortest possible time

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years’ experience within a development environment is advantageous
• 2 - 5 years database experience 3 -5 years server/client- side languages are advantageous
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
