The Group Data, Analytics & AI team aims to manage, shape, support, develop, and scale Big Data, machine learning, robotic process automation, and artificial intelligence to deliver measurable business benefits across all Vodacom Group markets. As the leader of this CoE, the role defines and owns the vision, strategy, policies, and guidelines for Big Data and RPA/Chatbot solutions delivery and drives excellence in execution. Responsibilities include providing company-wide thought leadership on Big Data, machine learning, and automation solutions, managing the team as a CoE, delivering specialized expertise and best practices in these domains, driving the adoption of world-class practices in Big Data, AI, and process automation, defining and delivering the Big Data and machine learning strategy, working closely with the Business Intelligence team on demand planning, industrialisation, and resource allocation, leading and building enterprise-wide Big Data analytics and machine learning capability, and delivering value realisation through applied machine learning solutions. This role includes driving the adoption of world-class practices in the fields of Big Data, AI, and process automation to deliver measurable business benefits.
