Reports to the QA Team Leader, fulfilling tasks based on assignments from the direct manager and adhering to general testing guidelines. The role involves performing testing and validation for the Customer Solutions Team deliverables, including drivers, interfaces, templates, and add-ins. This is done in accordance with the relevant test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy. The results of these tests are meticulously recorded to maintain a clear and detailed account of the testing process.
Additionally, the position requires updating the bug-tracking system to reflect the current status of identified issues and to track their resolution progress. The individual in this role also serves as a backup for the Technical Specialists when needed, providing support and ensuring continuity in their absence. This dual responsibility ensures that the testing process is thorough and that there is always a knowledgeable individual available to address technical challenges.
