MA Automotive Tool and Die (Pty) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of vehicle body components and systems, as well as tools and devices for the sheet metal processing industry. The company primarily serves customers in the automotive industry, with vehicles produced being sold in South Africa, the United States, and right-hand drive markets in Asia. Over 30% of manufacturing volume is exported. The company is currently seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Process Engineering Intern to join their team in Berlin (East London) for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This internship is designed for graduates with a completed NQF Level 6/7 Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering who wish to gain practical workplace experience in process engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment. Note: This position is only open to Employment Equity (EE) candidates and candidates with a disability.

Responsibilities

• Process Support & Monitoring
• Assist in monitoring daily production processes to ensure they run efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Help collect and record process data (cycle times, downtime, scrap rates, etc.) for analysis.
• Support senior process engineers in identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production line.

Qualifications

• Completed NQF Level 6 or 7 Degree or Diploma in:
• Mechanical Engineering, or
• Industrial Engineering
