Description

Anglo American is offering a 12-month Cybersecurity Learnership as part of its International Cybersecurity Early Careers Programme. The programme combines structured learning, certification preparation, and practical workplace experience in cybersecurity operations, cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics, and cyber risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity operations activities
• Assist with monitoring and analysing security threats
• Participate in cybersecurity incident investigations
• Contribute to cyber threat intelligence reporting
• Gain exposure to digital forensics processes and tools
• Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training
• Participate in structured learning and certification preparation
• Prepare for CompTIA Security+ certification
• Engage in professional development and knowledge-sharing activities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and information security
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
