The Artisan Learnership Programme is a structured, occupationally directed training initiative that leads to a trade-related qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded a Trade Certificate issued by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). This accredited programme integrates theoretical knowledge, practical training, and work-based learning components, ensuring comprehensive skills development aligned to industry requirements.

Qualifications

• South African citizen targeted at unemployed Youth
• Successfully completed Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics (Core Mathematics) and Physical Science or Technical Matric
• Trade related qualification
• South African driver’s License minimum code B
• Must not be registered on an active Learnership or Apprenticeship funded by a SETA or privately
• The domicile address must be within the King Cetshwayo District Municipality, KwaZulu Natal.
