Bigen is offering a bursary program for the 2025 educational year, aiming to grow young engineering talent in South Africa. The program provides a fixed amount of funding to students studying engineering degrees related to Bigen services at recognized universities. The bursary covers tuition, registration fees, book fees, and other expenses. Students receive regular communication, invitations to Bigen functions, inclusion in the Bigen Young Professionals Forum, and paid vacation work. To apply, students must have acceptance to the university, a minimum 70% average in first year and a minimum 65% average in second to third year. They must be a South African citizen and not hold any other bursary or sponsorship, including NSFAS. Online bursary applications open in July, and applicants must provide a PDF CV, a certified South African ID or Smart ID card, and academic records. Incomplete applications or incorrect contact details can result in disqualification. After the application deadline, Bigen conducts an evaluation process, and successful shortlisted candidates are invited for interviews.
