Bursaries are available for various fields such as accounting, chemical engineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, extraction metallurgy, geology, human resources, mechanical engineering, mining engineering, nursing, surveying, and teaching. Bursary covers registration, tuition, accommodation, computer allowance, and cash allowance. Bursary recipients are required to participate in vacation work at Impala Platinum annually and work for the company for the same duration of funding. Eligibility requirements include being a South African citizen, currently in Matric or having completed Matric, and studying or intending to study in one of the listed fields.
