We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Intermediate Software Tester to join our team for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of industry experience in software testing, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail. An ISTQB certification and experience in the financial industry are highly beneficial. Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans is required. This position is in-office and based in Centurion, Pretoria.The role involves developing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts based on project requirements, performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, and identifying defects and inconsistencies in software applications. The role involves collaboration with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality and adherence to specifications. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in software testing, strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, experience with test management and defect tracking tools, proficiency in writing clear test plans and cases, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
