The role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of best practice models and assessment strategies,
in line with regulations, to facilitate world-class risk management. Responsibilities include contributing to a culture
conducive to transformation goals, researching and making recommendations for corporate citizenship initiatives, and
supporting corporate responsibility initiatives for business strategy.
The role also involves identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank's processes
and systems. The focus is on ensuring that product and/or solution design is congruent with business specifications,
meeting stakeholder requirements promptly, and engaging and assisting the business through face-to-face interaction
and attendance at forums and committees.
The role also involves assisting the business in addressing queries, extracting and analyzing data, and monitoring
data as per client specification. Documenting and recording processes and models ensures continuity and knowledge base,
while providing insights enabling growth through analytical research and recommendations.
Compliance with policy is ensured through data analysis and monitoring, resulting in efficiencies and streamlining
processes. The role also involves bridging the gap between operational and analytical concepts through communication,
supporting the achievement of business strategy, objectives, and values, improving personal capability, ensuring personal
growth, sharing knowledge and industry trends with the team and stakeholders, and obtaining buy-in for developing new or
enhanced processes that improve stakeholder businesses.
