The ideal candidate should have a Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational and a relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology. Knowledge and experience include defect tracking systems, automation testing, CI/CD practices, performance testing tools, test management tools, security testing concepts, cloud platforms, full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and version control systems. Experience in cloud environments, full SDLC, and version control systems is also essential. The ideal candidate should be able to mentor junior team members, provide guidance, and share best practices to enhance the overall testing capability. Experience in non-functional testing, Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), financial and banking systems, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, and Object-Oriented Design principles is also essential.
