The role involves partnering with product and engineering teams to ensure features are developed using automation testability in mind, evaluating existing automation frameworks and test scripts, recommending, augmenting, and implementing proven automation tools, technologies, and techniques, creating an automated dashboard to elevate the quality of releases, distributing ownership of quality across the team, enabling short and direct feedback loops on the quality of every code submission, enabling developers to establish confidence from the start of feature design and implementation, and staying current with trending processes, tools, technologies, techniques, and solutions.
To succeed, the candidate must have a minimum of 7+ years of QE experience, 4+ years of experience with XCode or Espresso, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, pyTest, and Cucumber, hands-on experience using version control systems, experience working with external testing solutions, strong test automation design skills, and hands-on experience with cross-platform testing.
