As a QA Engineer at Impact.com, your role will involve understanding how we integrate with various storefronts like Shopify and creating test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will work closely with engineering teams and will be responsible for testing integrations end to end, including test planning, analysis of requirements, consulting with product development, defining test methods, and conducting regression testing.
The successful candidate will partner closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand product requirements. Their responsibilities include test planning, analysis of requirements, evaluating system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements, recommending design improvements or corrections, maintaining effective communication with project software engineers, and executing test plans and creating test reports. Testing will include functional and nonfunctional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and sanity testing, monitoring program performance after implementation, conducting compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs, and formulating and designing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
