The individual is responsible for systems testing on newly developed systems, applying basic, intermediate, and advanced testing techniques. They log faults, review test cases, and make recommendations for optimization. They develop and refine test cases and procedures, prepare management reports, and ensure proper test prioritization according to risk-based techniques. They also assist in implementing testing methodologies and provide input to the BA for finalizing Business Needs Requirements. They present training to staff on new initiatives and document and facilitate the implementation of new processes. They develop and implement test plans, create master test plans, and maintain system knowledge continuity. They work with project managers and development teams to identify and implement testing needs, plan the test environment, and oversee the rollout of test methodologies. They manage testing staff, ensure their effectiveness, and ensure adequate testing resources are available. They are also responsible for fault analysis and management.
