As a QA Engineer at MetaMask Curated Experiences, you will join a team that focuses on enhancing the quality of features and user experiences across three MetaMask wallet platforms: MetaMask browser extension, React Native MetaMask Mobile app, and Portfolio Dapp platform. These platforms rely on multiple services from the backend API platform. Your role will involve improving quality standards, supporting teams with best-in-class QA automation tooling and frameworks, and contributing to e2e tests and other testing as needed.
You will collaborate with other QA engineers, driving progress towards the North Star QA practices and automation tooling. The role involves applying world-class QA best practices to development processes, creating and maintaining detailed automated test cases, conducting manual test sessions, collaborating with the team and developers, reviewing requirements, maintaining thorough documentation, participating in project development meetings, and ensuring all major software releases meet high-quality standards.
Required skills include hands-on QA automation engineering skills, 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer automating tests, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation framework tools, basic coding skills in Javascript, GoLang, Python, ability to operate in a decentralized team and remote working environment, and strong documentation practices.
