Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to join their team in Midrand. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the SAP Commerce Cloud application to ensure it is scalable and efficient. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related, and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience working on the SAP Commerce Cloud solution.
The job entails designing, implementing, and customizing the SAP Commerce Cloud solution to meet business requirements, developing and extending core functionalities, modules, and integrations, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. The candidate will also integrate with other systems like ERP, CRM, CDC, OPPS, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
The role involves participating in the entire software development lifecycle, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The candidate will analyze and improve the performance of the SAP Commerce Cloud application, ensuring optimal response times and seamless user experiences.
The role also involves identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs, conducting thorough testing and debugging, staying updated on the latest SAP Commerce Cloud features, and suggesting improvements to the existing architecture and processes. The candidate will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive and exceptional e-commerce experience.
Responsibilities include providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders, providing accurate feedback to project team leads, adhering to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures, and adhering to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
