The role involves leading a team that understands various data sources and their flow within an organization. This involves providing expertise, thought leadership, guidance, and support in translating business needs into innovative architecture solutions. The team will analyze data, conduct root cause analysis, engage with stakeholders, and recommend improvements to data pipelines, data quality, metadata, master and reference data, and data access management.
The role involves understanding data sources, mapping them to target systems, providing transformation rules to Data Engineers, and ensuring processes conform to business objectives and Group Information Architecture. The team will also prepare and present findings on data analysis in written and verbal reports to key stakeholders.
The team will assist in mapping source systems to relevant enterprise data model elements and enterprise reference data. They will conduct analysis, time-series analysis, and classification models, using methodologies and methods for accessing, analyzing, and presenting data. They will research new data sources and analytical tools to improve processes and underlying data analysis.
