A Solar Partner in Asia and Africa is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team and help take solar into the next level. The role requires creativity, innovation, and a new way of thinking. The candidate will monitor AWS costs and services, improve monitoring infrastructure, implement REST APIs, and maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Python, REST APIs, GitLab pipelines, and GitHub Actions is required.
The job involves monitoring AWS costs, improving monitoring infrastructure, implementing REST APIs, extending and maintaining web applications, setting up databases, running schema migrations, maintaining and extending CI/CD pipelines, creating ETL processes, and performing data migrations. The candidate will also assist with the architecture and design of new software tools, REST APIs, data schemas, and data pipelines.
Requirements include at least 2 years of TypeScript Software Development, Python experience, experience deploying and maintaining production services, designing and maintaining REST APIs, data modeling, database schema design, GitLab pipelines, and experience with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, Amplify, IAM policies and roles, and S3.
