As a Software Engineering Lead, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for your team, writing code for complex systems and applications, and inputting these into projects, schedules, and methodologies. Responsibilities include working closely with stakeholders, implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews, acting as the initial point of escalation for software development issues, completing complex bug fixes, resolving technical issues, and working with complex data models.
Requirements include a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science, experience with various resource models, advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, industry best practices in external resource development, ability to partner and lead technology resources in solving complex business problems, excellent understanding of data modeling principles, data manipulation languages, and storage systems, proficiency in development languages, previous experience in people management, data manipulation language proficiency, and proficiency in AWS, NoSQL, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch.
