The Data Scientist also delivers consistent reports in Excel and PowerBI, quantifying uncertainty surrounding estimates and presenting results clearly.
Continuous automation of regular processes is another key aspect of the role. The Data Scientist writes code that reduces the time taken to run regular processes without reducing output quality. They also contribute to best practice in statistical and software, effectively using the existing team code base and recommending tools for improvement.
The role requires an undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, or computer science, evidence of ongoing personal development in data science, software development, statistics, or machine learning, and previous experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical roles.
