The QA Lead position is a contract, onsite-Johannesburg role with a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance-Automation testing and performance testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders, and be able to train and upskill testers. They should have a proven track record of leading and managing QA teams, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. The candidate should also be able to conduct technical interviews, assess candidates for technical proficiency and cultural fit, and prepare and present proposals to clients. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactively identifying and addressing quality assurance issues. The candidate should have a detail-oriented mindset, focusing on achieving staffing targets, delivering results to clients, and providing mentorship to junior team members.
