The position is for a Technical Specialist or Senior Civil Engineer, requiring deep technical skill and business development experience. Responsibilities include providing civil work expertise in complex projects, leading and managing Civil Engineers and designs, and using design and project management software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in stormwater run-off, bulk earthworks, sewer, and potable water designs, and be responsible for financial performance and quality of projects.
Minimum requirements include an MSc/BSc or MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering, minimum 4 years of relevant experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality technical outputs. Experience with industrial clients, such as mining companies, manufacturers, and oil and gas companies, is advantageous. Experience leading technical teams is also advantageous.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are required. Other advantageous skills include publications of work/projects, business development experience, and software literacy in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MS Projects, Hec-Ras, GoldSim, and PCSWMM
