The incumbent will significantly impact the functionality, design, and architecture of our systems, as well as the algorithms and code used to map business requirements into system functionality. They will create technology solutions that align with IT best practices and support the portfolio's availability expectations. Documentation standards must be maintained and enhanced as needed.
Responsibilities include technical analysis, system analysis, and governance. Technical analysis involves analyzing requirements in terms of feasibility, impact, and cost, contributing to lower costs by performing in-depth analysis of solutions, evaluating proposed solutions from vendors, and ensuring the technical solution meets business requirements. System analysis involves pre-empting issues, understanding project and business requirements, evaluating options, and providing input on system analysis and solution designs. Governance involves ensuring compliance with related governance and security requirements.
