The Compensation Fund in Pretoria is seeking applications for a Senior Management Services (SMS) position. The salary for this position is R1,216,824 per annum, inclusive of all expenses. The job requires an undergraduate qualification in Accounting or Financial Management, 5 years of experience at middle/senior management level in a Financial Management environment, and knowledge in Supply Chain Management prescripts, promotion of access to information, project management principles and methodologies, customer service, and legislative requirements. The roles include managing accounts payable systems for the Fund, overseeing bank reconciliation services, managing department budget control, providing effective financial management and advice, and managing all resources within the Directorate. The selection panel will recommend candidates to attend generic managerial competencies using the mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tools.
