The IT Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for designing and maintaining knowledge and information management systems, providing detailed, accurate, and timely reporting to facilitate fact-based decision-making within an organization. They extract data from various sources, convert it into meaningful information, and develop reports of strategic, tactical, or operational nature. They also compile strategic dashboards and present them to stakeholders at various levels. They also produce MIS outputs and reports, build relationships with internal clients, and participate in new projects. They service ad hoc requests for information, identify optimization opportunities, manage existing reports, and conduct benchmarking exercises to enhance the organization's competitive advantage. The role also involves identifying and leveraging areas for optimization.
