The job requires an Electrical Trade Test (ESETA/LGSETA) and a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in MV voltage maintenance and environmental water treatment works. The candidate must also be an authorized person in terms of NRS 040 or SAQA 242766. They must have knowledge of MV Electrical Engineering networks, apparatus, drawings, and MV SLD's. The candidate must have a high degree of computer literacy, organize, plan, communicate, and have basic project management experience. They must be physically fit, able-bodied, and not color blind. The key performance areas include coordinating tasks, reviewing MV switching programs, planning and scheduling project and maintenance work, preparing resource allocation schedules, controlling personnel performance, monitoring progress, operating advanced Medium Voltage Equipment, performing contract management tasks, and maintaining records and information related to the MV section's activities.
