Santam Digital is seeking a Test Analyst to join their team at their Bellville Head Office. The role involves effective prioritization, planning, and delivery of test results and reporting, leading a team to ensure quality standards and timely delivery, and carrying out quality assurance procedures for digital tools and services. The candidate will also create and review test cases, test data, and test targets for functional and non-functional test requirements, and link test cases to business/systems requirements to ensure traceability.
The candidate will document problems, work to resolve them, and report progress on problem resolution to management. They will continuously learn about digital, AI, data, other systems in the environment, short term insurance, and technology trends. They will assist with incidents and user support, collaborate with business analysis, project management, automation testing, and development competencies, and comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and experience include a testing certification (e.g., ISTQB – Test Analyst or similar), 3-5 years relevant testing experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Skill sets include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, effective communication skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, manage workload and timelines, be organized while working in a complex, fast-paced environment, and work independently and collaboratively.
