The role involves conducting thorough testing, addressing discrepancies, and successful implementation of requirements. The individual is responsible for administration, planning, and organizing data and activities to ensure successful and timely delivery. Quality and timeliness are essential, as financials and other stakeholders are impacted by the delivery of finance tasks.
Key performance areas include analyzing release backlog lists, consulting with related parties to identify finance requirements, specifying and distributing accounting specifications, compiling test and delivery matrix, administration, planning, and organizing work, preparing and providing test cases, participating in quality system, regression, and user acceptance testing, managing errors and exceptions, attending daily squad stands-ups, compiling progress reports, and complying with company policies and procedures.
Success in this role requires qualifications such as a diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, an ISTQB CTAL Foundation Test Analyst Certificate, 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance within a Finance team, solid understanding of software quality and agile methodologies, experience as System Tester in an Agile environment, and experience in Epsilon transactions.
