An intermediate business analyst position is available in the Care and Claims System team to work on dynamic new projects and product enhancements to improve business inefficiencies, gain competitive advantage on products, and provide better service to clients. The Business Analyst must understand the overall business need, define requirements, document them using various approaches, and decompose them to a sufficient level of detail. They will support the project throughout the project lifecycle and manage release and post-release monitoring. The successful candidate will be required to perform key outputs in respect of the Care and Claims CPS portfolio, such as running requirements gathering/JAD workshops, documenting business requirement specifications, constructing complex process models, executing user acceptance or system testing, resolving requirements conflict through stakeholder engagement, presenting options and recommendations to stakeholders, offering support and guidance to junior business analysts, identifying and documenting project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, identifying and performing process improvement work, and performing quality assurance of business analysis deliverables. Education and experience required include a BSc Information Systems or equivalent 3-year IT qualification, 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, certification in UML and BPMN course, experience in PL/SQL, testing, process mapping, and UML modelling, and requirements analysis experience.
