You will be an ideal candidate if you can increase operational efficiency, suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness, cultivate and manage objective working relationships with stakeholders, produce program specifications and implement system enhancements, code, compile, test and implement applications in compliance with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements during programming execution.
You will also be responsible for coding standards and peer reviews, complying with all steps within IT development and meeting governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements during programming execution. You will also assess, identify, and mitigate potential risks within the IT programming environment, produce technical specifications and architecture in accordance with agreed standards, minimize system downtime, monitor systems post change, maintain maximum system availability, manage own development, engage with business units and colleagues, identify innovative IT solutions, and supervise the work of other developers.
