The Manager - Automated Tester is responsible for ensuring high-quality software products by identifying and reporting defects, validating functionality, and contributing to the overall improvement of the software development process. They will work closely with the General Manager – Testing to create a comprehensive test plan, ensuring that the software meets specified requirements, functions as intended, and is free from defects. The Manager - Automated Tester will also play a vital role in detecting and reporting software defects by diligently executing test cases, identifying deviations from expected behavior, and documenting issues. 1. Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand software requirements and define test plans.
2. Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality and quality of the software.
3. Document and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
4. Collaborate with the development team, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify issues, and ensure alignment.
5. Promote and facilitate test automation and seek opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools within the agile environment.
