Psybergate, an IT company, is seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to join their financial services client in Centurion for a 12-month contract role. The role involves detailed business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and thorough analysis of proposed technology solutions. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals and other business analysts, to deliver effective solutions.
The role requires the ability to write and interpret data queries, analyze large data sets, and use tools like QlikView, PowerBI, Excel, SQL, and databases to analyze data and develop solutions. Visual representations of current and future processes will be created, and professional process workshops will be conducted to gather information and identify risks.
Project improvements will be identified, developed, and implemented, and process metrics, reports, and control points will be created. Root cause analysis will be carried out, and business process mapping systems such as Visio, Blueprint, Bizagi, and Microsoft Suite will be used.
The ideal candidate should have completed a relevant degree in IT, Informatics, or Data Science, 8 years of business analysis experience, experience working in an Agile software development environment, and proficiency in AI and machine learning. Demonstrable ability to operate independently, efficiently, and effectively in a chaotic, high transaction volume, and complex environment is required.
Remote positions are available, but candidates should be residing within the traveling distance as circumstances may change.
