The role requires strong skills in CI/CD pipeline development, Terraform, PySpark, and Linux scripting, as well as knowledge of structured and unstructured databases. Experience in test-driven development, unit testing, code coverage, and AWS services like API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB is essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies and Git development strategies is essential. South African citizens or residents are preferred. Experience in data and API mining, security best practices, system monitoring, and advanced data structures is preferred. Qualifications include an IT or Engineering degree, 5+ years of Python and AWS experience, and AWS certification. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Palantir Foundry, and data visualization platforms is also required.
