As an ICT Intern at CETA, you will gain valuable experience working with our IT team to support and enhance our technological systems and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide assistance in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for CETA staff and users. Offer support via phone, email, or in-person. System Maintenance: Aid in the maintenance of IT systems, including routine updates and patches for operating systems and software applications. Network Administration: Help monitor and manage network performance, assist with network configuration, and support connectivity issues. Project Assistance: Contribute to ICT projects by performing research, assisting with implementation tasks, and providing input on project progress. Documentation: Maintain and update documentation related to IT systems, procedures, and technical issues. Security: Support efforts to ensure IT security policies and practices are followed, including monitoring for potential security threats. Qualifications: Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and software applications. Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and productivity software. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks and documenting information. Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
