Discovery, a global thought leader, is seeking an intern for a Data/Reporting Analyst position. The internship is for a year, with the possibility of full-time employment afterward. The role involves assisting with the production and maintenance of reports and performing analyses related to these reports. Responsibilities may include writing SQL queries, supporting basic analytics requests, developing and maintaining regular risk reports and reporting processes, and contributing to process and report automation.
Personal attributes include attention to detail, problem-solving skills, reliability, time management, communication, adaptability, and working well within a multi-disciplinary team. Technical skills include MS Excel, SQL, basic statistics and analytics, and PowerBI/SSRS reporting tools. Education and experience include a matric, a tertiary qualification in Information Systems and/or Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and experience working with MS SQL and/or reporting software.
