This is a Cyber Security Skills Development Programme aimed at unemployed South African youth. The programme lasts for 4 months, starting on 1 November 2024. Participants will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity tools and practices. The programme is designed to help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills needed in the cybersecurity industry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 4-month Cyber Security training programme
• Develop skills in cybersecurity and related fields
• Engage in activities aimed at upskilling unemployed youth in Phalaborwa, Limpopo

Qualifications

• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree in IT or a related field
• Ages between 18-34
• South African Citizen
• Unemployed Youth
• Must reside in Pietermaritzburg, Phalaborwa, Mafikeng
• Diploma/ Degree in IT or related field
• Must not be participating in another Learnership or Internship programme
• Must not be enrolled at any tertiary institution, including TVET Colleges
• Must not be employed
