Sleepmasters is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join their team. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a passion for sales and a strong focus on customer service. The Salesperson will engage with customers, build strong relationships, and provide expert product guidance to fulfill customer needs. This individual will prioritize customer satisfaction in every interaction and strive to meet and exceed established sales targets. By identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, the Salesperson will contribute to Sleepmasters' overall growth, promoting the brand, maintaining product knowledge, and keeping up with market trends to provide exceptional service and value.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales tasks to drive revenue
• Meet or exceed sales targets and income goals
• Engage and retain customers through effective merchandising
• Manage cash and credit transactions in line with company policies
• Provide tailored product recommendations to customers
• Maintain product knowledge to address customer inquiries accurately
• Process sales transactions, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Track and manage inventory to keep shelves stocked and organized
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification
• 7-12 months of sales experience, ideally in a retail setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Self-motivation and drive
• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
• Excellent interpersonal skills with clear communication abilities
• Initiative, attention to detail, and understanding of sales processes
• Ability to adhere to business policies and procedures
• Proficient in basic retail knowledge and product knowledge across all categories
• Decisive action, courage, confidence, and emotional maturity
• Personal resilience, drive, and energy
